Overview

A successful candidate for this position will assist in the recruitment process including outside organizations with the sole purpose of recruiting new associates. This role will be responsible for assisting the Recruiting Manager in recruitment of candidates to open positions, as well as interviewing, application tracking, and working with management on staffing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assists Recruiting Manager in finding and matches qualified candidates to fill open positions.
  • Collaborates to develop strategies to achieve required staffing levels.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with colleges, universities and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified candidates.
  • Meets regularly with managers to develop specific recruiting plans to fill open positions.
  • Develops advertising (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
  • Provides information on credit union operations and job opportunities to potential candidates.
  • Responsible for managing the online presence on all social media platforms.
  • Is responsible for posting and maintain job postings on external websites including SC Works.
  • Screens initial applications and selects candidates for initial phone interview.
  • Screens candidates through face to face interviews and matches prior work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements to open positions then referring qualified candidates to hiring managers for additional interviewing.
  • Assists in managing candidate activity and prepares weekly reports on staffing needs, and actions.
  • Responsible for verifying work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements, as well as conducting background, reference checks, account status and bondability.
  • Conducts initial phone interview with candidates to determine if qualified for face-to-face interview.
  • Conducts face to face interview with candidates.
  • Assists with the coordination of information for the Best Places to Work nomination.
  • Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience of full cycle recruiting is required.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal presentation, written communication) required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline is preferred.
