Overview

The Marketing Intern will support the Marketing team by assisting with the creation and management of marketing materials, social media content, and internal and external communications. The role includes coordinating with external partners, supporting events and campaigns, conducting market research, maintaining marketing assets, and contributing to website updates and general administrative tasks. The intern will gain hands-on experience in marketing operations and communications within a professional organizational setting.

Responsibilities

 

  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials including print and digital content.
  • Help manage and schedule social media content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Create communications to our employees and distribute them using available internal channels.
  • Act as a liaison between our external marketing firm partner and members of the Marketing team.
  • Participate in planning and execution of events, promotions, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Draft policies, guidelines, and templates for marketing materials and processes.
  • Support the creation and distribution of external communications, including press releases and marketing advertisements.
  • Conduct market and/or competitor research and gather data to assist in campaign development.
  • Maintain and organize marketing files, photos, and promotional materials.
  • Assist in website updates and content management.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Marketing team.

Qualifications

  • Current college student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field and classified as a junior or senior.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, dependable, and eager to learn.
